18 foot 6 year old Growingdome gets door/entry conversion.
It took me about 3.5 hours to go from the old standard doorway to the new standard, giving me much more room inside. Only need 3 pieces of glazing and a couple 2x4's to make it happen, all other supplies were cut down from existing parts.

New Thought
at about the 10 year mark(or when you need a re-tape), it might a good idea to move North wall glazing to the south side for added longevity.

Seals?
Metal Glazing Strips Upgrade
Rather than using the clear aircraft tape that comes standard with the Growing Dome Classic Kit to seal the seams between the polycarbonate glazing panels, the Metal Glazing Strips Upgrade includes a strong roofing tape covered by custom built aluminum strips to seal the seams of the green house. After 10+ years of use on the Growing Dome we have found this upgrade provides a longer lasting, lower maintenance option for sealing.
Not sure these seal anything, and the new double side tape actually traps water under the mgs, finding they don't stick well in humid areas and over heat the glazing in hot climate's...

Honor Innovation
I'd like to make mention of all the improvements made to the Growingspaces Growdome and to those that inspired those changes, its been a long journey...
from Memory (maybe not 100% accurate)
Andrew Got us to stop using Philips screws and use Torx Instead
not sure who got us to use Cement board instead of T1-11 (thats changing again soon).
Mikey, gave us a new top-cap for the water tanks, much needed improvement
Rodney angle cuts on bottom struts to close the gaps, Building wall sections without siding, Notching Struts (Udgar had same Idea, just never did it), Attaching North wall insulation to Glazing, pre-angling bottom strut on larger domes when doing strut by strut building, strut by strut building of the Growdome, Lifetime wood treatment (same time as Richard), Solar attic fans to replace vents (done once)
Pamela Putting on Brown around trim before bottom row of Glazing
Matt & Shawn white reflectix on outside of north wall insulation
Richard Rose entry way mods to make building doorways easier
Greg Anderson many mods to building, perfecting notching, tricks to make things neater and often smarter building...
Pete new sidings and others things I am sure
Richard the Vent guy, Lifetime wood treatment and I am sure many others
Charles Help perfecting Shed Doorway
Shop Boys streamlining
Office Kids keeping us in-line and on schedule
these are ones I have heard of, there are many more from the guys in the shop
and I am sure many more to come...
